As a reminder this is Fourth of July weekend in Maine and very busy. So the earlier booking the better. Below is a variety of hotels within a 20 minute radius of the venue in Wells. We apologize with it being a holiday weekend we are unable to do blocks of rooms so there is no code or discounts related to the recommended places to stay. All events will occur either in Kennebunkport or Wells if you wish to plan other places to stay.
Directions
Airport Travel: Boston/Logan Airport is an hour and a half away with public transportation available to Maine via bus or train. Portland Airport is a half hour away.
Venue: Magnolia Barn is located at Wells Reserve. After entering Laudholm Farm Road, you will come to a fork in the road where you see a sign that says Wells Reserve with an arrow pointing left at the intersection of Laudholm Farm Road and Skinner Mill Road. Please be sure to take this left onto Skinner Mill Road! Although your GPS will want to take you elsewhere, this is the correct entrance. If you stay straight, you will end up at the service entrance, which has a gate permitting access.
Continue ~600 feet and take your next right following signs to the Wells Reserve, which will lead you to the entrance of the main event parking lot. Park in the lot and then let the parking attendant know you are here for a wedding event so you will not be charged an entry fee. After parking, please follow the main path to the front of the barn where you will meet your event host.
